Bring Me The Horizon were attacked on stage during a concert in Salt Lake City, USA, over the weekend.
The incident began after audience members grew restless, heckling the band and throwing water bottles at them. Outraged, Sykes threw the water all over the crowd and asked for those responsible to either leave or come on stage and fight him. Needless to say some audience members saw that as a direct invitation and next thing you know the stage was full of drunken angry punters who wanted to throw some punches at the singer.
During the scuffle the guitarist on stage even brought his guitar down on the head of one of the attackers! About 30 people made it up on stage, but there were also a lot of fights in the crowd also.
The band quickly left the stage and the whole group of attackers ran out the side door towards the buses.
Oliver was escorted off stage for evaluation. He was noticeably shaken but otherwise unharmed and returned to the stage after 30 minutes to finish the band's set.
